Victorian House Museum- an 1866 Victorian Home recreating a family dwelling of the period. The Museum also features frequently changing exhibits of artifacts and collections pertaining to local history, Society office, research library, gift shop, and the Society's collections of artifacts and clothing. Open Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm. Closed Saturday, Sunday, and major holidays. Admission $2 adult, $1 child, free to Society members. Group tours by appointment.

- Big Mama's BBQ, North Belt and West Main. great slow cooked bbq in a relaxed local restaurant. big portions, lots of choice and all around great food.
- Maxwell's, W. Main Street(almost downtown heading from West Belleville to the square). a local gem - great food and lots of choices, all served by a friendly and welcoming staff. Usually packed on the weekends, so go early.
- Wings Over Belleville, W. Main Street(in the old Burger King Building). go if you're a fan of chicken wings. fantastic.
